In less than two months, the biggest event in European club handball will begin with the impressive Opening Party in front of and inside the LANXESS arena. Ticket pre-sale has already begun.

Official start of #HelloCologne at 18:00 hrs

The VELUX EHF FINAL4 2016, which takes place on 28/29 May, begins traditionally on the eve of the event, when thousands of handball fans from all over the world gather in front of the arena with pleasant anticipation for the upcoming weekend.

In order to build anticipation for the action on the court, fans will have the chance to see players of all four participating teams answering questions about the upcoming matches on the big stage. After the team presentations, the stars will be positioned inside the LANXESS arena for autograph wishes.

Furthermore, many other stars such as former players and handball celebrities will be among the crowd to join in the great atmosphere of this fantastic event.

Fans who also want to take an exclusive picture with the most desired trophy in handball, which will be raised by the winners only two days later, will have the opportunity on Friday.

Activities such as the Robokeeper will be ready for every fan to prove their own handball skills and also to compete with others.
The evening will feature different top-class music acts before a huge firework display will bring the Opening Party to an end and set the tone for a fantastic weekend of handball.
