Involving the stars of European handball in the draws to the EHF EURO Qualification as well as the respective final tournament has become a regular custom and the draw to the Men's EHF EURO 2018 Qualification is no exception.

The biggest star entering the stage will be Croatia's Luka Stepancic. The 25-year-old has been one of Zagreb's outstanding players in the past seasons.

He had already scored 36 goals in the VELUX EHF Champions League before a serious knee injury sustained in the match against SG Flensburg-Handewitt sidelined him. However, this did not French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain Handball to sign the right back for three seasons, starting this summer.

With Croatia Stepancic won bronze at the World Championship 2013.

Joining him will be Slovenia's Mario Sostaric, Hungary's Gergely Harsányi and Serbia's Filip Marjanovic.

Sostaric plays for RK Gorenje Velenje and the right wing has been one of the key players in 2014/15 season when his side reached the EHF Cup Finals in Berlin, scoring 58 goals in the entire campaign.

Gergely Harsányi plays for Grundfos Tatabanya KC in Hungary. The right wing has played more than 150 times for Hungary, scoring more than 300 goals along the way. One of his biggest successes was the fourth place with the Hungarian national team at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Filip Marjanovic was part of the Serbian squad at the EHF EURO 2016 in Serbia. On a club level he played this in the VELUX EHF Champions League with Vojvodina, scoring 42 goals in their campaign in Group C.
