Dubrovnik hosts Secretaries General ConferenceEurope’s handball officials will be meeting in Dubrovnik, Croatia this week as the EHF holds its 9th Secretaries General Conference. The conference provides the national federations’ lead staff and officials with the opportunity not only to be updated with the latest information from the EHF but also to provide their own feedback, opinions and ideas on a range of current issues. Over 40 national federations and almost 80 participants will take part in the conference, which will begin on Tuesday, 12 April and run through to Thursday, 14 April. Topics include the new EHF EURO 2020 qualification system, empowering grassroots, strengthening women’s handball as well as a chance for the national federations to inform the EHF how they can best be assisted with their work in the future. Draw events Two draw events will also take place on the fringes of the conference. On Wednesday, 13 April at 18:00 hrs the draw for the Men's 20 EHF EURO will take held. Live coverage will be available via Facebook Live as well as on the eurohandball.com live ticker and on the @EHFEURO Twitter channel. Thursday will then see the conclusion of the three-day event with the draw for the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 qualification and launch of the official mascot by the hosts of the 2018 event, the Croatian Handball Federation.
