Handball fans support children in needPlay for Change (PfC) and the EHF together with many handball fans helped more than 3,100 children in Nepal after the earthquake to improve their quality of living. The cooperation with the charity partner of the EHF continues this year. The aid organisation was able to rebuild playgrounds at 37 schools, also with the help of the donations made at the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2015, and thousands of children now have the opportunity again to improve their lives with sport, games and joy. This support shall continue this year in many other countries. Visit the Play for Change stand For all the interested visitors, Play for Change will be present at their booth in the LANXESS arena on the upcoming weekend. Here, fans can learn more about their fantastic programmes, which have brought a smile back to childrens' faces. Furthermore, spectators will be able to take part in the Play for Change Tombola to win exclusive handball prizessuch as signed match jerseys, official match balls and merchandising hoodies. Both Saturday and Sunday, the tombola is available until 17:00 hrs and at 17:15 hrs three lucky winners will be drawn on both days by official EHF referees. The prices can be picked up at the PfC-stand until 17:40 hrs. Those who wish to help this project can do so by buying a Play for Change wristband. All proceeds will be used for the construction of playgrounds and sports facilities all around the world. Fans can moreover help by buying a PfC shopping bag starting from €2.00 together with a great souvenir at one of the official merchandising booths. Everyone decides themselves how much they want to pay for the bag and again all proceeds will be donated. Friday at the opening party and Saturday before the first semi-final, Play for Change representatives will inform the spectators by giving interesting interviews. Hopefully, as many handball fans as possible will then be keen on joining the project by helping children around the world get access to sport.
