Share your memories from 25 years of the EHF

On 17 November 2016, the EHF its will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special event in St. Wolfgang, Austria parallel to the 13th Ordinary EHF Congress.

To celebrate the event a special website - 25yearsEHF.eurohandball.com -  has been launched with news and information on the anniversary event and the Congress.

Share your memories!

Ahead of the anniversary celebrations the handball community is being invited to take part in a unique project to record the history of the federation over the past quarter of a century.

The handball community is asked to share their own personal memories and recollection from their involvement in the federation and its development.

These stories could be from a memorable or epic match, an EHF event or somebody who contributed to the development of the federation.

Whether you are a referee, official, coach, player or simply a fan of European handball, the EHF would like to hear from you.

If you have a story or memory to share, simply use the form provided on the website and upload your text, photo or video content.

Additional content will be provided by the team in the EHF Media and Communications department and the EHF’s network of journalists across Europe.

A selection of the best stories will be published on a timeline with a very personal history of the EHF

New look for EHF online

Sharp-eyed observers will notice a new look for the event’s micro-website.

The new website has been developed in the design of the federation’s new online platform - the 'home of handball' - which is currently under development and set to be launched later in the season.

St. Wolfgang to play host

On 17/18  November 2016, officials from across European handball will again gather in the small town of St. Wolfgang, close to Salzburg, overlooking Lake Wolfgang with a panoramic view of the Salzkammergut mountains.

The event will be held in the Scalaria event resort, which offers a vast range of top-quality modern facilities built around a castle.

The schedule of the event will see the Congress take place on Thursday, 17th and Friday 18th November.

Live coverage will be provided on the official micro-website 25yearsEHF.euroandball.com.
