A number of development contracts for SMART and Foster Projects were signed at the conclusion of the EHF Congress in Austria


Development contracts signed

The meeting of the European nations in St. Wolfgang also provides an opportunity for the signing of contracts for a number of development projects supported by the EHF across Europe.

SMART Programme

The EHF’s SMART Programme provides support to emerging European nations though tailored activities and measures.

To date the EHF has supported 16 national federations through 33 programmes.

Contracts signed at the Congess will provide support to Luxembourg for the first time as well as to Molova and Serbia.

Contracts were signed between the EHF President and the Luxembourgish President, Romain Schockmel, and the federation’s CEO, Christian Schmitt.

The Modovan federation was represented by its Presidnet, Nicolae Piatac and Secretary General, Nicolae Vizitiu.

Serbia’s contract was signed by the federation’s president, Bozidar Djurkovic and SMART Programme Manager, Milan Petronijevic.

Foster Programme

The 20th foster agreement was signed at the Congress bwteen associated federation, Scotland and Albania, whereby the Scots will support the development of the sport in Albania.

The contract was signed by the Chairman of the Methods Commission, Jerzy Eliasz, the Scottish President, Chris McManus and Secretary General of the Albanian Federation, Armand Cakalli.
