NEWS REPORT: Between 3 and 7 May, five matches from Rounds 3 and 4 of the EHF EURO 2018 Qualification will be streamed live, with two of them even going on the EHF EURO Facebook Page


EHF EURO 2018 Qualification live on ehfTV and Facebook

Things are heating in the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 Qualification. From Wednesday 3 May to Sunday 7 May, Rounds 3 and 4 are being played and the first teams have the opportunity to already clinch their berth at the final tournament in Croatia next January.

Of the 28 matches in total, that include seven double headers between the two top seeded teams of each group, five will be streamed live: on ehfTV and two of them for the first time also on the EHF EURO Facebook page.

The first game is Wednesday’s big clash, the repetition of the World Championship 2017 Final, Norway vs France. Throw-off is at 18:30 hrs in Oslo; watch it live on ehfTV and the EHF EURO Facebook page.

The match will be the last for French handball greats, Thierry Omeyer and Daniel Narcisse. Both have announced their farewell from the national team following the double header against Norway.

From Oslo the focus shifts to Ljubljana where from 20:00 hrs, also on 3 May, World Championship 2017 bronze medallists Slovenia face EHF EURO 2016 champions Germany. The match is live on ehfTV.

On Thursday 4 May, fans can get a sneak peek of the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna on the eve of the TIPPMIX EHF FINAL4 2017.

Two days before the best four teams of the WOMEN’S EHF Champions League meet in the Hungarian capital, Hungary’s men’s national team faces Olympic champions Denmark. The match will be streamed live on ehfTV and the EHF EURO Facebook page.

A huge day for Romania

At the very end of Round 4, the EHF EURO 2018 returns to ehfTV. On Sunday 7 May at 20:00 hrs Serbia face Romania. Should Romania win the first leg in Round 3, they would have the huge opportunity to qualify for their first EHF EURO since 1996. The match will be streamed live on ehfTV.

In case CSM Bucuresti manages to defend their title at the TIPPMIX EHF FINAL4 only hours before, Sunday could mark a huge day for Romanian handball.

At 19:45 hrs local time (21:45 hrs CET) the match between Iceland and FYR Macedonia concludes the coverage. Aron Palmarsson returns to the court for Iceland, and fans can follow one of the world’s best playmakers live on ehfTV.
