Who’s got the fastest feet in the Champions League?

LAST WEEK IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Last week could not have been more diverse across the Champions League teams. August is well and truly here, and while some are breaking sweat and working out, others are working on their tan with almost the same tenacity.

Who’s got the fastest feet in the Champions League?

Find out who got dizzy on the beach, why there will be no cutting slack at Kielce, who keeps his eyes on the prize, and most importantly, why dancing helps your handball, in the newest edition of Last Week in the Champions League.

No easy life for Dujshebaev

One does not have to say it twice – Kielce means business this season. The Polish champions were not satisfied by an early exit last term, hence the reinforcements, most notably Alex Dushjebaev, their coach’s oldest son.

However, father Talant is not letting Alex get off lightly. Last year’s VELUX EHF Champions League winner is breaking a sweat and doing the basics (the vastly unpopular staircase jumps) along with the rest of the team to get the best out of his physical preparation.

Igor Anic vlog

The Celje star Igor Anic has been creative over the summer. We know his as a man of many talents, but Anic always kept his artistic spark going. This summer he has started a vlog, with some great stuff for all the handball fans and beyond. Do you follow?

Eyes on the prize, Joan

Vardar's men are hitting the gym hard during the summer. In order to get ready for the trophy defence, Raul Gonzalez's men are building the muscles in their fitness centre.

These workouts are never easy, but in moments when the all the motivation fails, one needs to find something that keeps him going and keep his eyes on the prize. Right, Joan Canellas?

Fast-feet Appelgren

Ever wondered what does it take to become a Bundesliga goalkeeper? A great deal of talent, that’s for sure, with countless hours in training almost a certainty. But, is there something else? To make it to the very top, you need the footwork of an Irish tap dancer. Just ask Michael Appelgren.
