NEWS: 20 teams will take to the court when the Women's 16 European Open take place in Gothenburg from 2 to 6 July 2018

Groups confirmed for Women's 16 European Open 2018

Four months out of the Women's 16 European Open 2018, the preliminary round groups for tournament in Gothenburg from 2 to 6 July have been confirmed.

The 20 participating teams were seeded based on their respective rankings at the Women's 17 EHF EURO 2017 and the corresponding EHF Championships.

Sweden Netherlands Finland Slovakia
Italy Faroe Islands Iceland Switzerland

The first two teams of each group qualify for the main round.
