ROUND PREVIEW: After Perla Lublin qualified already last weekend, the last three semi-final tickets in the Women's Challenge Cup are up for grabs this weekend.

Only three tickets left

After MKS Perla Lublin qualified already last weekend through a six-goal aggregate win in their double-header away against Rincon Fertilidad Malaga, the last three tickets from the semi-finals of the Women's Challenge Cup are going to be handed out this weekend; one of them in another double header, the two others in the second leg of ongoing quarter-final ties.

After Malaga were eliminated last weekend, Spain still have a chance to be represented in the semi-finals, as 2016 Challenge Cup winners Rocasa Gran Canaria are receiving Turkish Zagnosspor for two quarter-final matches on Saturday and Sunday.

If Gran Canaria manage to benefit from the home advantage and proceed to the semis, we may get a meeting between the winners of the tournament from the previous two years.

Reigning champions HC Lokomotiva Zagreb are travelling to the Netherlands with a nine-goal lead after winning 26:17 at home against Virto/Quintus last weekend, so the Croatian side have an obvious edge before the return game.

The winner of this tie will be up against the winner of Gran Canaria versus Zagnosspor.

Kristianstad Handball Klubb also have an edge against Ardesen GSK.

The Swedish team, who are debutants in Europe this season, won the first match in Turkey 26:23, so the team of the legendary coach Ulf Schefvert have a very good chance of finishing the job in the Kristianstad Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The winner will know their opponent at the final buzzer, as it is already a fact that they will be up against Perla Lublin.
