Job offer: Internship EHF EURO events

The European Handball Federation is organising the Men’s and Women’s EHF EURO events every even year. The preparation period for such an event is six years. For the upcoming events there are peaks in preparatory measures between March and June and September and December.

During such periods the EHF invites interns to join the EHF EURO department to support the ongoing preparatory activities.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support of office work and production of documents
  • Handling of material
  • Data administration
  • Collection of information – reminder and back office
  • Production of protocols, reports and Power Point presentations;
  • Archive management
  • Creation of illustrations and drawings

Person specification:

  • Fluent English (written and spoken);
  • Ongoing education in sports management/marketing or similar field
  • Knowledge and interest in sports
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office, Adobe Illustrator – all further skills are advantageous

Working for the EHF EURO events team

The EHF Office in Vienna is the headquarters for the European Handball Federation, the umbrella organisation for handball in Europe. The EHF EUROs are the flagship events of the EHF taking place biannually.

The EHF EURO events team is responsible for preparing and coordinating the EHF EUROs together with the organising federations from the bidding procedure through to the final tournament.
