Become a mobile journalist at the Women’s EHF EURO 2018

The EHF Media and Communications Department is looking for an experienced mobile journalist to join the EHF Media Team at the Women’s EHF EURO 2018 on a freelance basis.

The Women’s EHF EURO 2018 takes place from 29 November to 16 December in France. It is the European Handball Federation’s flagship women’s national team event with 16 teams competing for the title and a large dedicated media team, run by EHF Media, bringing the action on court and the stars of the game closer to the fans worldwide through a plethora of different channels.

Key criteria for applicants

  • Strong experience in mobile journalism and the proven ability to record and publish video and audio content with a smartphone
  • A good flair for social media and the knowledge of publication formats for channels such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
  • Knowledge of and the ability to use video editing programmes/apps such as Adobe Premiere and Luma Fusion
  • Ears, eyes and nose for a good story and the ability to cover and publish this story in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Strong command (written and spoken) of English.
  • Knowledge of and interest in sports

This position is offered on freelance basis and limited to the duration of the Women’s EHF EURO 2018 in France. However, it includes the possibility to join EHF Media’s team of freelance mobile journalists afterwards and regularly cover other competitions such as the VELUX EHF Champions League.
