DRAW REVIEW: The draw in Vienna determined the quarter-final pairings and also the semi-final fixtures.


2016 winners face Gomel in the quarter-finals

Rocasa Gran Canaria, the 2016 winners of the Women's Challenge Cup and last season's runners-up, will take on HC Gomel from Belarus in this season's quarter-finals after the draw at the EHF Office in Vienna determined all four quarter-final pairings and also the semi-final fixtures. If Rocasa make it through to the top four of the competition they will meet the winner of the tie between ZRK Naisa Nis from Serbia and Kristianstad Handboll from Sweden.

The draw was conducted by Markus Glaser, EHF Chief Sports Officer together with Bozica Palcic from Podravka Vegeta and Miklos Bitter from Siófok KC Hungary.

The first quarter-final leg is scheduled for 2/3 March and the second leg will follow one week later. The semi-finals will be played over 6/7 and 13/14 April.

Rincon Fertilidad Malaga (ESP) vs HV Quintus (NED)

Semi-finals:
Winner of Rincon Fertilidad Malaga (ESP)/HV Quintus (NED) vs Winner of SPR Pogon Szczecin (POL)/Boden Handboll IF (SWE)
Winner of Rocasa Gran Canaria (ESP)/HC Gomel (BLR) vs Winner of ZRK Naisa Nis (SRB) vs Kristianstad Handboll (SWE)
