After THW Kiel opened Round 2 with a narrow but deserved 26:23 victory against Pulawy on Wednesday, GOG hope to keep in touch with the three-time EHF Cup winners and hosts of the EHF Cup Finals 2019.

The Danes will be tested on home court by two-time EHF Cup winners Fraikin Granollers.

• Granollers were defeated clearly 33:22 on home court by Kiel in their opener, while GOG claimed two important points by beating Pulawy 31:28
• The Catalans proved their away strength by winning 33:24 at former Slovenian champions Gorenje Velenje in Qualification Round 3
• The last time, GOG faced a Spanish side in the EHF Cup was in the 2001/02 quarter-finals, losing both matches against BM Galdar.
