After losing in Berlin last weekend, French side Saint-Raphael Var Handball are aiming for their first points in this season’s EHF Cup Group Phase against La Rioja. But that will not be easy as the Spanish side displayed some strength last week at home and will surely look to start a series with a second win in a row.

• Saint-Raphael are without points after one round while Logroño count two

• This will be the first European encounter between the two teams

• Logroño only won two games away since the beginning of the season, while Saint-Raphael have lost their three matches played since the start of 2019
