Delo Group announced as WOMEN’S EHF Champions League title sponsorFor the next two seasons (2019/20 and 2020/21), Delo Group will be the title sponsor of the WOMEN’S EHF Champions League. The competition is to be renamed the DELO WOMEN’S EHF Champions League. The sponsorship deal will already begin this season with the Delo Group to put its name to the 2019 edition of the DELO WOMEN’S EHF FINAL4, which will be played in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna on 11/12 May 2019. Delo Group is already strongly engaged in handball, mainly in Russia. This new title rights sponsorship will allow the company to further extend its activities on the European market. With media interest growing exponentially – the 2018/19 season has already reached new heights with a total of 24 TV stations, covering more than 50 territories – the Delo Group will receive extensive TV exposure through perimeter and on-court advertising, logo presence on media backdrops, corporate hospitality as well as activation opportunities at the next three DELO WOMEN’S EHF FINAL4 events. The sponsorship agreement was signed on 25 February 2019 in Vienna by Igor Yakovenko, CEO of DeloPorts, Delo Group subsidiary and David Szlezak, Managing Director of EHF Marketing GmbH. Commenting on the new agreement, Michael Wiederer, EHF President, said: “The WOMEN’S EHF Champions League has already established itself as one of the leading competitions in women’s indoor sport thanks to its strong development and growing media interest.
