Further optimisation of visibility and exposure for Nord Stream 2
Ahead of the start of the Last 16 matches of the VELUX EHF Champions League, EHF Marketing GmbH and the league’s premium partner Nord Stream 2 AG have reached an agreement to strengthen the Nord Stream 2 presence.
Starting with the knockout phase of the VELUX EHF Champions League, Nord Stream 2 will make use of a new design for their floor stickers and statistic advertising boards behind the goals, in addition to an increase in the number of minutes on LCD/LED advertising in order to enhance visibility during the matches.
Furthermore, Nord Stream 2 AG will receive additional exposure on the referee shirts during the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in 2019 and 2020.
With the 2018/19 season being broadcast via 39 TV partners covering more than 80 territories and with worldwide coverage on the EHF’s OTT platform ehfTV.com, Nord Stream 2 will receive extensive exposure in Central and Northern Europe, which are core regions for their project activities.
With the contract upgrade EHF Marketing GmbH has signalled its intention to further strengthen and optimise its partnership with Nord Stream 2.
About Nord Stream 2 AG
Nord Stream 2 is a planned pipeline through the Baltic Sea, which will transport natural gas over some 1,230 km from the world’s largest gas reserves in Russia via the most efficient route to consumers in Europe. Nord Stream 2 will largely follow the route and technical concept of the successful Nord Stream Pipeline.
The new pipeline will have the capacity to transport 55 billion cubic metres of gas per year, enough to supply 26 million European households. This secure supply of natural gas with its low CO2 emissions will also contribute to Europe’s objective to have a more climate-friendly energy mix with gas substituting for coal in power generation and providing back-up for intermittent renewable sources of energy such as wind and solar power.
