Distance battle between Berlin and Saint-Raphael for first place

GROUP A PREVIEW: With their quarter-final places already secured, last season’s Men’s EHF Cup finalists are focused on the fight for first on the table in the final round of the group phase

Distance battle between Berlin and Saint-Raphael for first place

The finalists from last season of the Men’s EHF Cup, Füchse Berlin and Saint-Raphael Var Handball, can still hope for first place in Group A. The two teams have secured tickets for the quarter-finals and are currently level in first place with eight points.

The maths is quite simple: If the German side win at home against Balatonfüredi KSE, they will finish first. Any scenario where the French team records a better result than Berlin will see them grab first spot.
