EHF gears up for future with personnel changesWith the 2019/20 European club season just around the corner, the EHF has made two key staff appointments at its head office in Vienna. The announcement comes as the federation’s preparations continue for the start of in 2020 of its long-term media and marketing partnership with Infront and DAZN Group. Following nine years at the helm of the EHF Media and Communications department, JJ Rowland takes on a new role to become Senior Manager Business Development and Marketing.
He is succeeded as Head of Media and Communications by Thomas Schöneich, who has been a member of the EHF media department since 2012.
On a club level, he has been the media manager at the Women’s EHF FINAL4 in Budapest since 2014 and the editor-in-chief for various EHF FINAL4 publications.
