Croatia had to win against Ukraine to maximise their chances of making it to the main round and this is exactly what the team led by Hrvoje Horvat did on Monday night. Despite missing Halil Jaganjac and having to adapt to yet more new players, they managed to find the light thanks to Tin Lucin in the first half and were already ahead by five at the break.
