After Barça tied at Kiel earlier on Thursday, Lomza Industria Kielce grabbed their chance to almost bridge the gap to the unbeaten number one of their group. The Polish champions beat Elverum 37:33 to be on 12 points, only one point below the defending champions – the only side to have beaten them so far. Elverum remain on two points, equal with Celje.
