Race to reach EHF European Cup Men round 3 begins

ROUND PREVIEW: Handball frenzy awaits the fans as 62 clubs are targeting a place in the next round

An action-packed schedule awaits the start of the EHF European Cup Men round 2, with 30 matches on the agenda over the next few days. Last season's runners-up, Nærbø IL, are one of the clubs beginning this season's journey and the Norwegians are hosting the Icelandic team, Afturelding, on the back of a couple of home wins in their domestic competitions. However, the visitors are well-prepared for the trip and are fighting FH Hafnarfjordur as well as Valur - two other participants in the Europe's third-tier club competition - for top spot in the Icelandic league.
