45 European players ready for beach handball’s big moment

PREVIEW: The IHF Beach Handball Showcase, taking place on the fringe of the Paris 2024 Games, is set for throw-off on Saturday

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games handball competition has begun at South Paris Arena 6, with nine European teams in each the men’s and women’s tournaments in the race to reach the quarter-finals. A different group of European players are about to grab the Olympic spotlight in the French capital, as the IHF Beach Handball Showcase, taking place on the fringe of the Games, is ready for throw-off. 24 matches will be played at the French Handball Federation headquarters, the ‘Maison du Handball,’ from Saturday to Monday.
