FTC and Krim extend winning streaks, Vipers and Rapid share spoils

DAY REVIEW: Debutant CS Gloria 2018 BN were stopped at Metz, Rapid Bucuresti failed to win in Kristiansand


The EHF Champions League Women round 2 brought new excitement across Europe with all four home teams on Saturday keeping their court undefeated. The Hungarian champions had another slow start, but pulled another strong attacking performance. Vipers Kristiansand grabbed first point of the season from a draw against Rapid Bucuresti with the help of goalkeeper Katrin Lunde. Krim Mercator showed their true colours and took a clear win against Nykøbing Falster Håndbold, while Chloé Valentini gave impetus to Metz to beat debutants from CS Gloria 2018 BN.
