Strangers clash at the start of the EHF European League Women

QUALIFICATION ROUND 2 PREVIEW: Only a couple of the 18 teams in qualifying round 2 have played each other in the past.

The exciting new season of the EHF's second-tier club competition gets underway with a couple of double-headers in Norway and Czechia, respectively, and seven first leg matches in qualification round 2. One participant in the EHF European League's group phase will be immediately known after the weekend, as the winner of the tie between Fredrikstad Ballklubb and GC Amicitia Zürich will secure a direct place in the group stage.
