Pajovic gears Austria up for important clash with Switzerland

FEATURE: Austria's head coach Ales Pajovic looking forward new challenges after impressive EHF EURO 2024 result

The Men's EHF EURO 2024 marked the start of a new era for Austrian men's handball. The team progressed to the main round in Germany and came close to securing a spot in the placement match for fifth place, but ultimately settled for eighth. Under the guidance of head coach Ales Pajovic, Austria set a strong base, and with the EHF EURO 2026 Qualifiers now in full swing, the squad is determined to secure a spot at the next European Championship.

This Sunday, Austria make the short trip to Switzerland, making the local derby the Highlight Match of round 2. The fans can enjoy English commentary by one of the EHF's first female commentators Clare Griffiths, live on EHFTV.
