France power to statement win over Poland

GROUP C REVIEW: France showed superb form as they cruised to a clear win against Poland to conclude day one in Basel

France made clear they deserve the billing of favourites to challenge for the title at the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 as they started their campaign with a decisive victory against Poland, 35:22, to wrap up round 1 for group C on Thursday night. With 10 goals on the board after just 10 minutes, France were already on track for the win and were able to use their full rotation of players as they enjoyed the positive start they hoped for.
