GROUP D REVIEW: Co-hosts Switzerland defeated Faroese debutants in historic first Women’s EHF EURO victory

Co-hosts Switzerland had the perfect start to the Women's EHF EURO 2024 — claiming their maiden EURO win in front of their fans after beating the Faroe Islands 28:25. As soon as Switzerland set aside the stage fright and being overwhelmed by the atmosphere, they propelled a goal-run and created a gap which was hard for the opponents to catch.
