Last-minute win sees Poland take first points

GROUP C REVIEW: Poland earned their first win at the Women’s EHF EURO 2024, 22:21, following a tight contest against Portugal

Round 2 for group C at the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 opened with a close contest between Poland and Portugal, with Poland ultimately taking a 22:21 win and putting their first two points on the table. Poland led the game through the opening stages before a Portugal comeback late in the first half, after which the match was played on level footing until the final minute. The winning goal was scored with 43 seconds to go.
