Four teams begin long road to Men's EHF EURO 2028

PREVIEW: Varna, Bulgaria plays host to qualifiers phase 1 on the path to the Men's EHF EURO 2028

Many nations may be focused on the 2025 IHF World Men's Handball Championship starting later this month, before national attentions turn to the business end of Men's EHF EURO 2026 qualification later this year, but some teams are already thinking further ahead.

On 10–12 January, four teams will take to the court at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria, for qualifiers phase 1 of the Men's EHF EURO 2028, with all the action to be streamed live on EHFTV.
