FTC deliver comeback to clinch MOTW draw

The MOTW lived up to its billing as FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria fought back to secure a draw against Metz Handball in the quarter-finals of the EHF Champions League Women 2025/26

FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria came back from a three-goal deficit against Metz Handball to save a 31:31 draw in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the EHF Champions League Women 2025/26. It was their first draw at Erd Arena and the third overall in the history between the two sides, with goalkeepers playing a crucial role — Blanka Böde-Bíró and Johanna Bundsen both stepped up in a top-notch battle that went down to the wire.
