Germany beat Hungary for maiden W16 European Open title

Croatia edge out Switzerland to place third at traditional youth tournament in Gothenburg

Germany are the new Women's 16 European Open champions. They took the title for the first time in convincing style in Gothenburg on Friday evening by beating Hungary 29:17 (13:8) in the final of the tournament's 10th edition. Croatia finished third after narrowly defeating defending champions Switzerland 24:23 (11:10) in the 3/4 placement match.
