The Men’s 20 EHF EURO 2026 reached a decisive stage in Romania on Friday, where the spotlight fell on the rising stars of the sport, as the four remaining nations took part in the semi-final showdown. Sweden defeated Denmark in the first semi-final — in a replay of the Men’s 18 EHF EURO 2024 final — while Hungary took a clear win against Slovenia to join the title fight.

Teams no longer in contention for the trophy played cross matches throughout the afternoon and evening, crucial for the 2027 IHF Men's Junior (U21) World Championship qualification.
