Her Playground: What drew our attention in October

What stood out to us in the world of women’s sport in October? Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the FIBA Foundation and Michele Kang

This past month the topics that caught our eye were all about advocacy: For breast cancer awareness through Pink October, for a selection of standout contributors to the development of women’s basketball as featured in a special project by the FIBA Foundation, for women’s sport in general and football in particular from fearless investor Michele Kang.

And of course, we look at what happened in women’s handball in October. Let’s get into it!
