Vérten ready to prove 

Eurohandball.com asks the quick left winger of Győri Audi ETO KC, Orsolya Vérten, about the match coming up against Podravka.

Eurohandball.com: What do you think about the Croatian side?

Orsolya Vérten: We did not start analysing them yet, but we have seen their game against Ribarroja already. In addition, we played several matches against them already, in August for the last time. So we know them.

Eurohandball.com: On paper, you don’t need to be frightened.

Vérten: I think their third place in the group does not mean that they are not a good team. However, we have to beat everyone on home court and we must not be afraid of them either. They are a strong team, but I feel we are much stronger.

Eurohandball.com: You had an invitation to Szombathely during the week…

Vérten: Yes, we were invited to the Berzsenyi Dániel College for an exhibition training where we practiced gameplans with coach Csaba Konkoly. Many were interested, we even had to give autographs at the end.

Eurohandball.com: Don’t you feel a lack of games?

Vérten: No, we have been preparing against Podravka with more trainings than usual, so we will be able to pick up the rhythm for Saturday. We have no injuries, luckily, so we would like to prove our dominance with a convincing victory.
