Infront Sports and Media is the exclusive commercial partner of the European Handball Federation for the Men’s and Women’s EHF European Championships. This is a long standing and successful partnership, which commenced in 1993 and will run until 2020 under the present agreement. Infront markets the television rights, media rights, and main sponsorship packages including commercial rights for LED board advertising.
The EHF works extremely closely with Infront and has regular working sessions in Vienna and Zug in both the preparatory period and during the European Championships to guarantee a sporting event of the highest standards. Infront has played a considerable role in securing the placement of the European Championship product on the sporting market, with the event proving to be as popular as ever.
Salming Sports AB is the official outfitter of the EHF and EHF Marketing GmbH. The Swedish company is one of the fastest growing brands in handball and is also known for its high quality products for running, floorball and squash. The four-year agreement, which runs through to end of the 2019/20 season, includes the supply of apparel and shoes to top referees as well as merchandising rights in the federation’s top competitions including the EHF Champions League and EHF EURO.

The “blue and yellow” no line flooring system at the European Championship has become a trademark feature of the events and is recognised world-wide. The EHF has been working with Gerflor since 2004 to provide the European Championships for Men and Women, plus the Younger Age Category, events with a high quality event floor which satisfies the needs of both the athletes and the requirements of a modern top class event. IN 2006 the agreement was extended to include a Champions League flooring system for selected matches in the group phase and in all venues as of the last sixteen matches. The distinctive “Champions League colours” of blue lagoon and black will be used to present the event identity.

EHF and Sport Transfer have been partners since 2012, namely, since the time Sport Transfer has been delivering handball goals for the European Beach Handball Championships and European Beach Tour Finals. Beginning from the Women’s EHF EURO 2014 in Hungary and Croatia, Sport Transfer has been also delivering the goals for the most important events organized by EHF including both Women’s and Men’s Handball European Championships as well as youth teams final tournaments. The goals manufactured by Sport Transfer have been also used during Velux EHF Final 4 in Cologne, Germany, and Women’s Final 4 in Budapest, Hungary.

The EHF wants to use and promote suitable high quality portable goals for its development programmes for Beach, Mini and Street Handball within its 50 Member Federations. Two sizes of portable goals are on offer at competitive prices; 2.40m x 1.70m for Mini and Street Handball and 2m x 3m for Beach Handball. A two-year agreement has been agreed between the EHF and QUICK PLAY covering the period June 2016 - 2018.

GOALCHA is subdivided in the leisure time sport and modern type of handball GOALCHA Street Handball, focused on fun and less rules, and in the numerous GOALCHA Activities, aiming at exercise and the gathering of good experiences with the purpose-made GOALCHABall. GOALCHA was developed with the objective to bring handball back to school and into the daily life of children and youths. The European Handball Players Union is the institute body representing the professional handball players in Europe. EHPU was founded in 2008 during the European Championship in Norway. Today, it represents more than 1350 male and female professional handball players from 4 different continents. EHPU is composed of the 7 national unions of Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Spain and Sweden. EHPU is perceived by EHF as the representative body of the professional players in Europe - two voices of the Professional Handball Board (PHB) are given to EHPU. The purposes of EHPU are to get the players voice being heard in the institutional handball world, we want to bring information from the pitch to the governance body and from the governance body to the locker room. EHPU is also trying to help the development of new national unions, in order to represent all professional handball players.
