Kadetten closer to second place

After beating Vardar pro by 36-30, the Swiss team made a big step towards the second place of Group C. Kadetten now have real chances to continue in the Main Round, which would be the biggest success in the history of the club. However, in worst case, the Swiss can still continue in the CWC.

Vardar pro leave Zurich with a 30-36 defeat, but the FYR Macedonian team still have some chance to clinch third place after Croatia Osiguranje lost against Ademar. There are many variations for the last round.

The FYR Macedonian side played well in the first half in Zurich. Vardar showed that they arrived to win, but after 0-2 and 3-3 Kadetten took control of the match.

The second half was not so successful for the guests as Kadetten were leading by 23-16 already.

Just when it all seemed to be decided, two Kadetten players where suspended and Vardar came back to 24-23. The Swiss prevailed in the last five minutes and the game ended 31-26 as the Vardar defence could not do much against the Kadetten wingers, Hrahovec and Liniger.
