The only title holders playing for defending their victory are Romanian Resita.

Hard vs Pfadi

Getting to the semi-finals was a question of only one goal for the Austrians. The excellent first game in Hard and the 8-goal victory made it possible for them to knock the Bosnian Doboj out. In the semi-final they will not have to travel so far as Pfadi Winterthur will be waiting for them. The Swiss side decided the quarterfinals with the successful home game and with the goals of the young Daniel Schmid.

Lisboa e Benfica vs Resita

The Portuguese side secured their tickets in the semi-finals with surprising ease against Timisoara. Two victories (by 10 goals at home) signalled that they play in top form. They will have another chance to play against a Romanian side as title holder Resita will be their next opponents.
