Ciudad at home - without the trophy

The players of Ciudad Real had a real surprise for upon arriving back to Spain. As the players got their luggage at the airport back, there was only one item missing: the Champions League trophy.

Though the players, especially Pajovic and Morros, were searching for it, the trophy did not arrive in Spain with the team. The most important thing went missing at the Hamburg Airport.

No worries: the trophy will arrive to Madrid by plane today and it will be sent to Ciudad as any lost luggage should be. More than a hundred fans were waiting for the team in Madrid, but the celebration was not perfect after this incident. The mistake of the airport caused a funny situation and most people suspected a bad joke…

The trophy will be presented on Friday in Ciudad Real at the official party of the club. That will be the perfect occasion to end the season celebrating together with the victorious team and also with the cup…
