Krim not afraid

It is a tradition in Krim Mercator to bet before a draw which opponents they will get in the next round. This time they did not bet, but just talked about opponents they would like. One of the players, with the longest career in Krim, Tanja Oder was a bit disappointed:

"The only team I did not want to meet was Valcea and we got them," said with a smile on her face. She added: "I think we can play with all of them – Valcea, Győr and Budućnost – an equal game. They are good teams, but a lot will depend on the daily form."

Coach Marta Bon was thrilled:

"I’m happy with the draw. I said before that I would be happy with any team given to us. Each match will be a great challenge.”

The young star, Andrea Lekic wasn’t worried either:

“I’m happy with a draw. I predicted well, just thought we would get Hypo instead of Valcea, The Romanians have great players, but you never know what to expect from them. Their form is not constant. Győr play typical Hungarian style and will be nice to play against them. While going again to Podgorica will be something special. I’m looking forward to a full hall and superb atmosphere."
