Zvezda win SIKA Cup

The team of Evgeniy Trefilov demonstrates excellent form at the beginning of new season.

Four CL teams took part at the traditional SIKA Cup tournament in Bad Urach – Zvezda, Hypo, Byasen and Budućnost. All the matches were played with two 15-minute halftimes. Only the semi-finals and the finals were played 2X20 minutes.

In the exciting final Zvezda Zvenigorod defeated last year's winner Hypo Niederösterreich. The team of Evgeniy Trefilov won the tournament in Bad Urach for the first time in the club's history.

Kari Aalvik Grimsbø (Byasen Trondheim) was the best goalkeeper, Alexandra do Nascimento (Hypo Niederösterreich) the top scorer and Seng-Ok Oh (Hypo Niederösterreich) MVP of the tournament.
