EURO preparation: Heads of Delegations Conference

The EURO organisers and the qualified national teams are all preparing for the biggest national team event of 2010, the EHF EURO 2010 in Austria (from 19 to 31 January 2010).

The Heads of Delegations Conference is a traditional event, an occasion for the organisers to address the teams and also a chance for the team leaders to check the conditions waiting for the handballers at the European Championship. On 7-9 October, the heads of the EHF EURO 2010 teams visited Vienna for this event.

On Thursday, the EHF and the Austrian organisers have provided the national team representatives with all necessary details such as information on tournament and competition regulations, logistic questions and infrastructure, ceremonies, accreditation, training schedule, ticketing, team guiding and so on...

On Friday, the heads of the delegations will split into four groups and travel to the four venues of the Preliminary Round (Linz, Graz, Innsbruck and Wr. Neustadt). Here they will be guided through the playing halls and they will also be shown the hotels where the teams will be accommodated during the EURO.

It will be a useful guided tour for the EURO participants where they can raise questions or have special requests before the event.
