The world class left back had to undergo a shoulder operation. She cannot return in the next three months.
FCK without Krause
FCK Håndbold will have to do without their German international, Nadine Krause, for the rest of the group stage. The 27-year old right handed backcourt player, who is serving the Danish club for the third season, had to undergo surgery for a shoulder injury.
Krause has been out for almost a month now due to the problems with her right shoulder, but it turned out that the injury had to be operated.
This will mean a three-month break for the German player. Nadine Krause will not be available for the rest of the group stage or for the World Championship coming up in December.
At the moment, FCK are also missing goalkeeper Cecilie Leganger. The Norwegian tore her Achilles tendon earlier this spring and she is not expected to return before Christmas.
