Jose Manuel Sierra injured

Spanish international keeper Jose Manuel Sierra will be out of the courts for five or six weeks. He suffered an injury in the left knee in the Asobal match against Nathurhouse La Rioja and will need surgery.

This is a serious problem for Valladolid coach Juan Carlos Pastor. In the Champions League the rules don’t let him fill up Sierra’s place in the squad. A situation to show responsibility for the experienced Swedish goalie Thomas Svensson.
