The 13 available places at the 2010 M20 European Championship will be distributed from Thursday to Sunday this week.
Men’s 20 ECh qualifications in 8 countries
The Qualification for the Men’s 20 European Championship is coming up from Thursday to Sunday this week. The eight qualification groups will be played in eight countries: Slovenia, Iceland, Israel, Finland, Romania, Russia, Portugal and the Czech Republic.
The national teams consisting of players under the age of 20 will play for the available places at the Final Tournament of the Men’s 20 European Championship - taking place from 29 July to 8 August 2010 in Slovakia.
Groups no. 1 to 5 include four teams each and the two top ranked teams will secure a ticket for the Final Tournament. In groups 6-8 there are only three teams and the winners will advance.
The altogether 13 teams qualifying from the qualification groups will join the three teams already qualified for the event: Slovakia (organiser), Germany (winner of the 2008 M18 ECh) and Denmark (runner-up of the 2008 M18 ECh).
