Men's EHF EURO 2012 Qualification starts

Although there are still 449 days left to the 2012 Men's EHF European Handball Championship in Serbia, the qualification matches will start on 27/28 October 2010.

On 12 April 2010 the draw took place in Belgrade. Seven groups of four teams, this includes 25 teams plus the three group winners from Qualification Phase 1, will play qualification games with each three matches at home and away.

The qualification for the EHF EURO 2012 in Serbia will be carried out in 7 groups of 4 teams each. The teams will play a total of 6 matches with a home and an away match against each of the other teams in their group.

The teams ranked 1st and 2nd of each group will qualify for the EHF EURO 2012 in Serbia.
