IHF/EHF 2011 Men's Challenge Trophy

The IHF/EHF Challenge Trophy, supported by the International Handball Federation, gives emerging or developing handball nations the chance to compete in international competition.

The hosts of the 2011 edition of the national team competition for emerging nations, the IHF/EHF Men's Challenge Trophy, have been announced by the European Handball Federation.

The two men’s tournaments will be held in Ireland by the Irish Olympic Handball Association and in Malta by the Malta Handball Association. The two tournament are scheduled to take place 04-06 November 2011.

The winners of the two events will go through to a final match, which will take place in Serbia during the EHF EURO 2012 competition. This will be played in the Pionir Arena, Belgrade on Thursday 19 January 2012.
