Berlin Füchse player has had his appeal against suspension accepted
Sven-Sören Christophersen appeal accepted
The EHF Court of Appeal has accepted the appeal in the case of Sven-Sören Christophersen, player with Füchse Berlin, and dismissed the first instance decision made on 14 March 2012.
The panel found that the action committed by the player in the 60th minute of the VELUX EHF Champions League match between Füchse Berlin and Bjerringbro-Silkeborg (Group Match / 25.02.12) did not fulfill the characteristics of an action deserving further sanction.
The player is therefore eligible to play in the club's next VELUX EHF Champions League Last 16 match between Füchse Berlin and HSV Hamburg on Sunday 18 March 2012.
