The Hungarian will stay in Spain until the end of his contract
LASZLO NAGY WILL SEE OUT CONTRACT AT F.C. BARCELONA
Hungarian star Laszlo Nagy (31) will stay with F.C Barcelona Intersport until the end of the 2012/13 season.
The Spanish team announced that Nagy will stay in "Blaugrana" until end of the contract. Nagy was linked with a move to Hungarian champion MKB Veszprem.
"Nagy is the best right back in the world and he is indispensable in our plans for next season,” the Spanish champions have stated.
Nagy to carry on success in Barca
Laszlo Nagy came to F.C Barcelona in 2000 from Hungarian Pick Szeged. As a part of the Barca family, he won the VELUX EHF Champions League twice (2005 and 2011), EHF Cup (2003) and four ASOBAL titles (2003, 2006, 2007, 2012). Nagy (208 cm) became the first ever non-Catalan captain of the seven-time EHF Champions League winners.
The Hungarian international is currently in preparation in London for his second Olympic Games after his debut in Athens 2004.
Replacement for Igropulo
Konstantin Igropulo has departed F.C Barcelona Intersport for German outfit Füchse Berlin, the Spanish team has found a replacement for him in talented right back Angel Montoro (23, 212 cm) from Ademar Leon.
There is no doubt now, which team will have the tallest duo of left-handed players in Europe next season.
