Only five places left for Challenge Cup Last 16

Last five teams will join the list of already qualified for the Women´s Challenge Cup Last 16 over the next weekend (16-18 November).

Three teams already made their way through Round 3 during the last weekend as ABU Baku, AZS Politechnika Koszalin and KSS Kielce joined seven seeded clubs and HBC Nimes on the list of the Last 16 participants. The former winners of Challenge Cup (2001 and 2009) from Nimes were awarded with a default  20:0 win earlier after the withdrawal of their opponents WHC Bačka Palanka-Nopal.

Seven teams, who were seeded directly for Last 16, are Croatia´s Fantasyland Samobor, Sokol Písek from the Czech Republic, France´s Mios Bioganos Bassin D'Arcachon, Macedonia´s ŽRK Kumanovo, Succes Schoonmaak/VOC Amsterdam from the Netherlands, Turkey´s Üsküdar BSK and Ukraine´s Spartak Kiev.

The draw of the Last 16 will take place on Tuesday, 20 November at the EHF Office in Vienna (11:00 hrs local time).
